The Substance Use Treatment Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a step down from PHP, providing a flexible schedule that allows individuals to attend treatment while maintaining their daily responsibilities. IOP offers sessions several times per week, focusing on individual and group therapy, relapse prevention, and life skills development. This level of care is suitable for those who have completed a higher level of care, such as PHP, or for individuals requiring a moderate level of support.

The cornerstone of our Substance Use Treatment IOP is a highly individualized approach. Our experienced treatment team works closely with clients to develop personalized plans that address their specific challenges, goals, and strengths. Clients participate in regular drug testing while in the program. Throughout the IOP, individuals receive a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Group therapy forms the foundation of our program, providing a supportive and empathetic environment for individuals to share their experiences, gain insights, and learn from one another. These group sessions are facilitated by our compassionate and skilled therapists who guide discussions and offer valuable therapeutic interventions.
Individual therapy sessions are also key components of our IOP Substance Use Treatment. During these one-on-one sessions, clients have the opportunity to explore deeply rooted issues, work through emotional challenges, and develop coping skills under the guidance of our licensed therapists. These sessions provide a safe space for individuals to address personal difficulties with the support and expertise of a trusted professional.
In addition to therapy, our IOP Substance Use Treatment program also emphasizes education and skill-building. Through psychoeducational groups and workshops, clients learn about the science of addiction, relapse prevention strategies, coping mechanisms, and life skills that empower them to maintain long-term recovery. By equipping individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary for success, we aim to enhance their confidence and self-efficacy in facing real-world challenges.
Moreover, our IOP Substance Use Treatment program extends beyond our facility’s walls. We actively encourage our clients to participate in community support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA). These mutual aid groups provide additional support and a strong network of individuals on similar recovery journeys.
